Our Motto: Grace . Truth . Love
Everyone is Welcome at Community Church. We strive to be the friendliest place in Big Bear. A place where people of all backgrounds come together to learn about God, experience faith, and worship Him.
The Bible is our standard. We are committed to teaching and applying the scriptures. We are happy to share it with others and we are excited to see lives changed as people experience His transforming power.
We are Authentic. We are not perfect. Even the most mature among us rely entirely on God’s grace for our salvation. We aspire to model faith in a way that is attractive and real.
We are Generous. We are engaged in our community and in the world. We are available to help others, even when it may not be convenient. We consider it a joy to respond to needs locally and globally. We are not only willing, but also happy to share with others the things that God has entrusted to us.
We are a family. Our unity is our strength - we will work hard to protect it. We aspire to have every person involved in ministry.
Our church is Multi-Generational. We value and honor the sacrifices of those who have come before us. We are committed to reaching the next generation for Christ. Children, youth, and young people are a top priority.

In August of 2015 God opened some pretty obvious doors for us to move up to Big Bear. We have loved every minute of it! We feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place! We wanted to be a part of what God was doing on this mountain. Dave and I have been married for 36 years. We have six children and I had the privilege to homeschool all of them. Working with children is what I love! For over 35 years I have been involved in Children's Ministry. Now I get to work with a great team of teachers and volunteers here at Community Church. My passion is to teach God's word to children and prepare them to walk with Jesus from a young age. I love to run, hike, rock climb, backpack, ski (I'm not very good) and I love being outside! This mountain has captured my heart and I want to fully serve God in whatever he calls me to do!

Hi, I am Beverly Craft and I teach the 4, 5 and 6 year old’s Sunday School class along with my husband Jay. I was saved as a child and God gave me a passion and a heart for his children. At the age of 16, I started teaching children and I have been teaching them ever since. Jay and I have 2 children and 7 grandchildren. We have lived in beautiful Big Bear for 24 years, after moving here from the Midwest. My favorite things to do in my spare time are spending time with the grandkids and doing crafts. I like quilting, sewing, home decorating, jewelry making, scrapbooking, and wood projects. Aside from crafty projects, no pun intended, I like to zip line and play laser tag.

Hello! My name is Kari Berletich. I am the supervisor of the infant and toddler rooms here at Community Church. I was born and raised in Big Bear where I met my amazing husband Zac and where we are now raising our three little girls Aurora, Lilli, and Faith. I have a love for this town and community that is deep and combined with my even deeper love for Jesus makes my service to your little ones a dream come true. It is my belief that it is never too early to begin teaching our children about God and the love that he has for us all and it is my intentions to ensure the little ones of our community have the opportunity to not only be introduced to God, but to have a ton of fun while doing it! In my free time I love to explore the beauty that surrounds our lovely town through hiking, camping, off-roading, or just a peaceful walk through the neighborhood with my family. It is great to meet you and I hope to see you on Sunday!

Hi, I’m Donna McClintock. I am the Assistant to the Pastor and all-around “beck-and-call-girl” for the church. I have been blessed with three beautiful children: Carlye, Cory, and Michael; and they have in turn blessed me with four beautiful grandbabies: Ellie, Brady, Katelyn and Conor. My children and I moved here from Texas in 1989 and have been attending Community Church since 1991. I have served and worked at the church since July of 1992. This church is my family and I have been blessed by them every single day in so many ways and am so grateful that I have been given the opportunity to serve God and his body in this manner in my life. I enjoy singing, which I do here at the church and I am part of an a cappella group in town. I enjoy reading cookbooks and trying new recipes. I recently tried my hand at gardening (the jury is still out on that one) and I love spending time with my beautiful family and friends.

Cory has been a musician all of his life and comes from a family of talented musicians. He grew up spending much of his free time at Community Church, exploring the rooms and attics, while his mom (Donna) ran the church office and his first band was the Junior High Youth Group worship team. He has been the drummer in several Christian punk rock bands and on the worship team at several churches and has a Bachelors degree from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. Cory and his family felt called to move back to Big Bear in 2015 and he stepped into the Worship Leader role shortly thereafter. He is so thankful for the opportunity he has to use his musical and leadership gifts to serve the Lord and the church where he grew up. He lives in Big Bear City with his wife of 13 years, Danielle, and their 2 kids who can often be seen singing and dancing (and heard loudly clapping between songs) during first service. He loves to take people to coffee so if you are a musician, drop him a line!
